Green Friday at Xandres

Xandres colours Black Friday green for the second time in a row.
We are not offering discounts to stimulate overconsumption on that day, but instead encouraging consumers to  cherish what they already have. To emphasise our position, we will close all our stores and web shop for one day on 25 November 2022. From 4 to 23 November 2022, you can also bring in your Xandres items to be repaired for free, extending the life of your clothing!

WHAT IS XANDRES DOING?
Closing the stores and webshop on Black Friday

A lifelong repair of your clothes for free - we've been doing that for years. For Green Friday, we are highlighting that service.

On that day, all employees, their families and residents of the local residential care centre come together to repair your clothes and attend workshops.

The repairs we have always been doing

• Replacing missing buttons

• Replacing zippers

• Fixing loose hems and belt loops

• Repairing linings and pockets

Extra for Green Friday

• Fixing loose seams

• Replacing elastic

• Repairing holes

• De-pilling pullovers

WHAT CAN YOU DO?
Don't throw away damaged clothes but have them repaired by Xandres instead

Take good care of your clothes with these tips to make them last even longer:

#1 Don't wash your clothes too often, do not use fabric softener and wash at a low temperature. Don't overfill your washing machine.

#2 Dry your clothes on a drying rack but not in full sun. Knitwear is best dried flat.

#3 Use coat hangers with wide shoulders so your items keep their shape.
