Xandres designs a limited edition sports outfit
with Inspiring Woman Camille Liebaert
Want to exercise in style? From now on, that's exactly what you'll be able to do in this Xandres outfit!
Stylish sportswear is the best motivator, so we partnered with Inspiring Woman Camille Liebaert, leading lady of the Recto Verso sports brand, to develop limited edition leggings and a sports top for all sizes. Stylish, sustainable, 100%-made-in-Belgium and produced using a special technology that will work wonders for your blood flow, skin and post-exercise recovery.
It is a tradition at Xandres to put an inspiring woman in the spotlight every season by interviewing and/or collaborating with her. For spring/summer 2021, we chose Camille Liebaert, a young, dynamic entrepreneur who created a successful athleisure brand, Recto Verso, in no time at all.
Since the coronavirus has been disrupting our lives and society for more than a year now, we believe more than ever in the power of local and sustainable stories. Belgian craftsmanship is key for both Xandres and Recto Verso. The limited edition sports outfit developed by our design team with Camille was created in Belgium from a to z.
With this project, Xandres and Recto Verso prove that local production and technological innovation can go hand in hand. "We have incorporated a special technology into the yarn , which converts body heat into infrared rays," says Camille. "The fabric stimulates the blood flow, softens the skin, and has a positive impact on cellulite and post-exercise recovery. An original typo print adorns the leggings and T-shirt. Cool mesh finishes the sports top off nicely.
Behind the scenes
Recto Verso is part of Liebaert Textiles, a family business founded by Camille's great-great-grandfather, which has been operating in the textile sector for over 133 years. Liebaert has been committed to manufacturing its products in Belgium all these years. Innovation and sustainability are part of the company's DNA. Interested in how our sports outfit took shape?
