We are looking for an experienced digital professional to lead the profitable growth of our international e-commerce, strengthen our brand digitally, and further develop our highly engaged team. 

THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced digital professional to lead the profitable growth of our international e-commerce, strengthen our brand digitally, and further develop our highly engaged team. 

This role reports to the CEO, is part of the Leadership Team, is P&L responsible, and cooperates specifically with peers in marketing, retail, customer service, merchandise planning, and logistics. 

 

As our Head of E-commerce you will:

  • Develop the strategy to deliver profitable international growth in e-commerce
  • Build the roadmap to execute this strategy and deliver excellent execution driving double-digit growth annually
  • Continuously increase operational excellence in our e-commerce management 
  • Spearhead omnichannel alignment 
  • Champion data driven decision-making and consumer understanding 
  • Build the Xandres brand in the international digital environment in accordance with our brand strategy 
  • Create a seamless omnichannel consumer experience 
  • Expand our international marketplace business 
  • Be a collaborative leader along the value chain, and focus on further developing our digital team

YOUR COMPETENCIES

You will have proven experience in and knowledge of: 

  • Platform migration, integration and e-commerce technology 
  • Agency onboarding and management 
  • CRO
  • Personalisation 
  • CRM
  • Loyalty
  • Customer service
  • E-mail marketing
  • Digital marketing & advertising: programmatic, social, native, paid search, etc. 
  • SEO
  • Merchandising & inventory management 
  • Omnichannel optimalisation
  • Marketplace management
  • Building e-commerce strategy and delivering ambitious commercial results
  • Developing teams and building team capacity, you are a natural leader

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree from a reputed university
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in e-commerce (that is: concrete commercial experience in online sales) 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in e-commerce leadership, team management, P&L responsibility 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Proven ability to drive a data driven way of working 
  • Experience in international e-commerce
  • Commercial and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Knowledge of the application of AI in e-commerce 
  • Proven capacity to manage projects
  • Affinity with consumer lifestyle brands 
  • Happy to get dirty hands and lead by example 
  • Driven by collaboration
  • Professional proficiency in English is a must
  • Proven people management experience and a drive to teach, to see people grow
