1. General

Welcome to our website www.xandres.com.

The website xandres.com is managed by Labels by Andres NV, with offices at Nijverheidsstraat 20, 9070 Ghent, Belgium, Ghent Register of Legal Entities, BE 0639 856 936. To contact us click here and choose the topic of your choice. These general terms and conditions apply to all uses of xandres.com, more specifically for the items and sales on this website. Whenever you visit this website or place an order, you agree with these general terms and conditions. Please note that these terms and conditions are periodically amended. Therefore we recommend you read them carefully every time you visit this website. Labels by Andres NV accepts no other conditions, unless agreed upon in writing.

2. Privacy statement

Our privacy statement contains information on how Labels by Andres NV will use your details. By accepting these general terms and conditions you also commit to our privacy statement.

3. The right to return your order

You have the right to return the items you have purchased within 14 calendar days. This period starts on the day you receive your order. After this period, return requests will no longer be accepted.

Returns via the post office

Place the item(s) you want to return in the bag and box your order was delivered in. Do not forget to include the returns form. It enables us to recover your order number and details. Cover the original label on the parcel with the preprinted adhesive address label. Then hand in the parcel at the post office of your choice. We always cover the shipping costs. We will inform you by e-mail once we have received and processed your returned order. Refunds are paid within 15 days following receipt of your returned items.

Returns via our Xandres or Xandres Gold stores You can also opt to return your items to a Xandres or Xandres Gold store. You can return your items to any store. To find your nearest store, check the list of stores on our website.

Place the item(s) you want to return in the bag and box your order was delivered in. Do not forget to include the returns form. It enables us to recover your order number and details. Cover the original label on the parcel with the preprinted adhesive address label. Then return it to the store of your choice (see ‘our stores’). We always cover the shipping costs.

The store manager will take the box with the items you want to return and ensure it is taken to our distribution centre. We will inform you by e-mail once we have received and processed your returned order in our distribution centre. Refunds are paid within 15 days following receipt of your returned items.

We do not give cash refunds or issue credit notes in our stores.

Our conditions

We will gladly accept your returned order, provided that you meet the following conditions:

  • The returns procedure (taking your items to a post office or Xandres / Xandres Gold store) must be started within 14 days following receipt of your order.
  • Every item returned must be unused and undamaged.
  • The original labels and tags must be in perfect condition and attached to the item(s).
  • The original packaging must be returned undamaged.
  • If the initial order was paid for with an online gift voucher, a new gift voucher will be issued once the items are returned.

Refunds are paid within 15 days following receipt of your returned items. Shipping costs are only refunded if you received a product you did not order or if the product was damaged upon receipt.

Please note: Our customer service team will contact you if we cannot process your refund because the conditions above have not been met. In the unlikely event that your parcel is lost during the shipping or returns process, we will always issue an online credit note. Unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund.

Important conditions: Potential losses due to exchange rate fluctuations cannot be refunded. You will find more useful information about the returns process in the returns section of our customer service pages (FAQs). If you cannot find an answer to your questions, do not hesitate to contact our customer service team by e-mail (click here). This paragraph does not limit the guarantee provided for under Belgian law in the event that the product is defective. We kindly ask you to inform us within two months if the product received is defective. After this period, complaints will no longer be accepted. Each party has the right to cancel a purchase in the event of a fundamental breach of these conditions by the other party. This means, for example, that we can cancel a purchase if you are not a customer or if your payment is not accepted.

4. Product information

We have done everything in our power to ensure the colours and descriptions of our items are as accurate as possible. However, the image and colour quality may vary depending on your screen. We cannot guarantee that your screen accurately reflects all the characteristics of the actual product. You will find a product description (colour, size, type etc.) and digital photos alongside every item. All prices include VAT for European countries, but do not include shipping costs. Prices are subject to change, for example during the sales. Always check the stated price when you place your order. If your item is damaged, contact our customer service team within a week following receipt so that they can inform our distribution centre.

5. Orders

xandres.com only sells its products to private individuals. This means that if you plan to buy items that are not meant for personal use, but for resale, for example, or if you plan to buy them on behalf of your company, you cannot place an order and we cannot sell any of our products to you. When you place an order on this website, you enter into a binding sale between you, as a consumer, and xandres.com as a seller. Your order is considered to have been placed once you have completed the last step in the order process. By placing an order, you expressly agree with these conditions, including all declarations and sections such as the privacy statement and returns policy. In the unfortunate event that a product you have ordered is out of stock, our customer service team will inform you immediately and offer you an alternative solution (e.g. shipping at a later date, a replacement product or a refund). Needless to say, any solution offered will be free of charge.

Labels by Andres NV reserves the right to amend or cancel an order if the prices or discounts displayed on the website are incorrect or if they were incorrectly processed in the payment stage.

6. Payments

Once you have placed your order, you are referred to a secure payment page on our website, where you are asked to pay for your order. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, debit and credit cards, iDeal and Bancontact.

An order confirmation will appear on your screen and you will receive an e-mail confirmation once your payment has been made. By paying for your order, you give Ingenico - Ogone (OGONE BVBA, Woluwedal 102, B-1200 Brussels, Belgium) permission to store your financial details securely, so that you do not need to re-enter them for future orders on xandres.com. If you are granted a refund, we will credit the card or bank account used for the payment. We cannot be held liable for fluctuations between the currency used for the first payment and the currency of your credit card or bank account once the amount paid is refunded.

1. We aim to ship your order within one working day following receipt of your payment. It takes two to three working days for your order to be delivered to the address provided (excluding weekends and public holidays in Belgium and the destination country). Please note that Saturdays, Sundays and official public holidays are not considered working days.

Orders placed on Friday afternoon or during the weekend are processed on Monday.

During busy periods, such as the festivities or sales, the delivery periods may be slightly longer.

3. In the event that the courier service loses your parcel, we will offer you a voucher covering the full amount of your order, allowing you to re-order the items in question. Please note that we cannot offer you a refund for lost orders. 5. For orders in Belgium we offer free delivery to our Xandres and Xandres Gold stores. For other orders, we offer free delivery for orders over €189.

2. Free delivery in-store (Belgium only)

In Belgium you can have your order delivered free of charge to the Xandres or Xandres Gold store of your choice. You can select your preferred store on the checkout page. You will receive an e-mail once your order is ready to be collected. The selected Xandres or Xandres Gold store will stock your parcel for ten days. If the parcel is not collected within this period, it will be returned to our warehouse.

8. Intellectual property

All contents (images, texts, brand names etc.) on xandres.com are protected by copyright and trademarks. None of the contents of this website can be used, copied or spread without the express written consent of xandres.com.

9. Gift vouchers

The following conditions apply to gift vouchers:

Gift vouchers

  • Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
  • Gift vouchers can be exchanged for items available on www.xandres.com.
  • Gift vouchers purchased in-store cannot be used in the online store.
  • Likewise, gift vouchers purchased online cannot be used in our stores.
  • Gift vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged, for cash or otherwise.
  • If the amount of your order exceeds the value of your gift voucher, please select your preferred payment method to settle the remaining amount.
  • If the amount of your gift voucher exceeds the value of your order, you can use the same code for your next purchase. The remaining amount will be available until the balance is used up or until the gift voucher has expired.
  • A new gift voucher will be issued for returned items purchased with a gift voucher.
  • Gift vouchers are sent to the recipient by e-mail once the order has been processed and the payment has been made. Upon request, a copy can be sent to the sender by way of confirmation.
  • xandres.com cannot be held liable for gift vouchers being sent to an incorrect or non-existent e-mail address. The responsibility for entering the correct e-mail address lies with the buyer.
  • xandres.com cannot be held liable for gift vouchers being lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission.
  • xandres.com reserves the right to cancel a gift voucher if necessary.
  • Shipping costs and VAT apply to all items purchased using a gift voucher.
  • Promotional codes or gift vouchers cannot be used for the purchase of gift vouchers.
  • Gift vouchers cannot be used in combination with other voucher codes or offers, and should be exchanged by the expiry date, if mentioned.

Birthday vouchers

  • Birthday vouchers are valid for one month.
  • They can be exchanged for items on www.xandres.com.
  • A birthday voucher entitles you to a € 25 discount on your next purchase.
  • There is no minimum purchase amount.
  • If the amount of your order exceeds the value of your birthday voucher, please select your preferred payment method to settle the remaining amount.
  • If the amount of your birthday voucher exceeds the value of your order, you can use the same code for your next purchase. The remaining amount will be available until the balance is used up or until the voucher has expired.
  • Only one birthday voucher will be issued for each customer.
  • Your birthday voucher cannot be combined with any other discounts.
  • Birthday vouchers cannot be used in combination with any other vouchers.
  • Birthday vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • Shipping costs and VAT apply to all items purchased using a birthday voucher.
  • A new gift voucher will be issued for returned items purchased with a gift voucher.
  • xandres.com reserves the right to cancel a gift voucher if necessary.

10. Right of cancellation

Consumers have the right to inform xandres.com that they want to cancel their purchase without the need to pay penalties or state their reasons for 30 calendar days starting from the day following the delivery date of the order in question. Click here to contact our customer care team.

11. Copy of contract

Labels by Andres NV stores an electronic copy of your order in accordance with the legal requirements. You can print the order confirmation that appears on your screen as soon as you have placed your order and the payment has been processed. You will also receive this order confirmation by e-mail. Moreover, you can find an overview of your past orders in your account.

12. Applicable legislation and competent courts

This agreement between you and Labels by Andres NV is governed exclusively by Belgian law. The courts of Antwerp (Belgium) and, if you are an inhabitant of the European Union, the courts in your place of residence, have sole jurisdiction. If any provision in these conditions becomes invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions (valid and enforceable). Possibility of dispute resolution online:  The European Commission offers consumers the opportunity to resolve disputes using one of its online platforms.
