THE NEW BAG IN TOWN
This shoulder bag combines the instantly recognisable elegance of Xandres with the contemporary design and craftsmanship of Koda Amsterdam. A limited-edition design showcasing that beauty can also be created out of what's already around us.
With careful attention to materials, shape and detail, each bag is handcrafted in collaboration with ONS Naaiatelier in Breda. Koda Amsterdam does not have its own ateliers, but works with social ateliers that are responsible for the careful production of the designs. The bag was designed by Ferry Meewisse.
The combination of Xandres leftover fabrics and vegetable-tanned Italian leather gives the bag a distinctive character, with no two stories ever being quite the same.
FROM LEFTOVER FABRIC TO NEW DESIGN
Leftover fabric doesn't have to mean the end of the road. Here, it is given a new purpose, becoming part of a timeless design that is made to last.
Vegetable-tanned leather
The strap is made of vegetable-tanned Italian leather, selected because of its quality and natural character.
Handcrafted in the Netherlands
Each bag is carefully crafted in Breda, with attention to finishing and detail.

Xandres and Koda Amsterdam share a passion for timeless design, creativity and more conscious choices. That shared vision led to the creation of the shoulder bag: a contemporary design with a story that goes beyond the product itself. Sophistication and character in one.
A limited run makes each piece all the more special. Xandres will be offering 100 pieces via its online store and four Xandres stores in the Netherlands. Elsewhere, the collaboration will also be rolled out via selected museum shops and the Koda Amsterdam online store.
