Nothing was wasted in the creation of the eyewear case: leftover leather materials were upgraded into an additional, contrasting closure ribbon that you receive with your case. Moreover, Atelier Sauveur, the leather atelier with which Xandres cocreated the glasses case, works exclusively with tanneries that carry the Leather Working Group label: a non-profit organisation that supports the sustainability of leather production.
